If you read here much, you likely know I’m a bit granola when it comes to body products. It began nearly 20 years ago when I started making my own soap in large batches, right in my own kitchen. My roommates and friends gave me a bit of side-eye as I mixed my lye solutions, read up on adding oats and essential oils, and jabbered about sapponification. I may have been considered eccentric. I still make some bath & body things and upgraded my ingredients to things like raw shea butter instead of generic grocery store oils. I like knowing where it all comes from. I like knowing the ingredients. Knowing the story.

We all benefit from soap. While simply using water and friction does an alright job of cleaning something, soap reduces surface tension and allows one to get the job done more efficiently. The reduced surface tension of water also means less dirt being redeposited. A more efficient clean means less illness and spreading of harmful substances.

The hair products are color safe and lightly scented, so they are safe for processed hair. I have a tendency to have blue or pink hair these days, so color safe is a must. These are moisturizing items, but without the use of silicone. Instead they nourish hair and skin with shea butter and aloe.

The citrus & peach rose scented items have a lovely light scent that isn’t overwhelming. Plus, the bundle packs are only $29.95 for shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and a bar of soap.
