In this month’s bag:

  • TATCHA PURE One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil – value $7.20
  • essence cosmetics superfine eyeliner pen waterproof – value $2.99
  • tre’StiQue Matte Lip Crayon in Florence Fig (mini) – Value $10.33
  • Dermelect Rapid Repair Facial Moisturizer – value $9.50
  • Adesse New York Liquid Chrome Organic Infused Nail Lacquer Grand Central – value $20

Total value around $50.02

Alrighty, let’s see. The TATCHA PURE One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil is ok. There is no major scent and it removes makeup. Personally, I don’t think it is doing anything better than some grapeseed oil from the grocery store can do for a better price. The essence cosmetics superfine eyeliner pen waterproof works well. It doesn’t smear around once on, but is still relatively easy to wash off. It also does not make my eyes itch. The tre’StiQue Matte Lip Crayon in Florence Fig is another for my large collection. I like tre’StiQue Matte Lip Crayons, but it is getting kind of funny because due to these two subscriptions, I now have like 20 of them in nearly identical colors. I do like them under a touch a gloss. I am not a fan of the Dermelect Rapid Repair Facial Moisturizer . It has a very strong scent. A generic lotion scent. I would say this is a cheap lotion base with maybe a couple extra ingredients and then repackaged to be expensive. I love the adesse nail polish. The Grand central color was fun and it went on very smoothly. I did two coats on Friday night and it took until Sunday night for it to start looking bad. Getting 48 hours out of a regular polish with no top coat is pretty good.

 Let’s check out BB5!

The October  Beauty Box 5 is here! (Affiliate links)

Beauty box 5 is a beauty subscription box with 4-6 sample size (and sometimes full sized) beauty products like makeup and toiletries.
It is $12 a month by the month, $10 a month with a 3-month subscription, or $8.25 a month with an annual subscription. Sometimes the value of the box can be six times what I pay for a subscription!

In October’s box:

  • Chella Ovory Lace Highlighter Pencil – value $18
  • Color Me femme red fragrance sample – value $1
  • Emery & Ivory Custom nail Appliques – value $12.99
  • Real Her Moisturizing lipstick – value $18
  • Amlactin Ultra Hydrating body cream – value $2.99

Total value about $52.98.

OK, this is a pretty good box. I like the highlighter pencil. It is too fat to fit in my sharpener, so that is a bummer, but I like it all the same. The color Me fragrances are never my style. Oh well. I hate nail appliques and these ones are especially ugly. The lipstick is really nice. It is smooth and non-cakey. And I am always an Amlactin fan. Winter is coming folks and my skin is already suffering. The highlighter and lipstick make this box.
