We have become one of those families who have a membership to everything. Yearly membership to the Science museum, Children’s Museum, the big zoo, art center, etc. It pays for itself in less than two visits and with winter being long and brutal up here, we go to these places nearly every weekend. The kids ask every Saturday to go to the zoo or a museum. I figure we should take advantage of their gung-ho feelings toward family time, since it won’t really be that many years until they are locked in their rooms brooding.
And Wyn’s favorite part is the flamingo exhibit. Because they are pink and she loves everything pink. I have been trying to sway her toward some other colors for decorating her new room. She has added purple and turquoise to the allowed color scheme. Basically, it will look like My Little Pony exploded in there.
