The summer lasted a long time this year, but it is dwindling. I had to bust out the warmer clothes. We are squeezing every last ounce out of the day light since we know it will soon be dark at 4 PM. The sunflowers in the front yard are dying. I tried to clip some to bring in and a bunch of earwigs crawled out. Yuck. Since the cold will becoming, I am compiling a collection of books for Winter reading. We picked all of our squash. Now is the time for pumpkin. October is Babywearing month. And the farmers market will end for the year. I love Fall, but it is very fleeting up here! Don’t you wish you could hit pause for a bit?
