L-E-T-S-G-O!
First thing first. that cute headband on Wyn is from Rhyla. I won a giveaway on instagram for a gift code to their shop. They have a lot of cute headbands and hair clips for infants and toddlers. which worked out great for Operation: Be A Better Girl Mom. Wyn LOVES accessories. She turns everything into a headband already, so this was a cool win. See, people really do win those giveaways!
Other thing. I am very ready and not ready for this next baby. I have four weeks to either be ready or be crazy, so long as I go to my due date or past. I am a late birther. The other two kids went to 42 weeks until my insurance started harassing me about inductions because of risks going past 41 weeks. I get it. They need to cover their butts. looking at some stats, it seems a third baby in four years might go a little more quickly. So, I am thinking maybe I won’t go over the supposed due date. I kind of hope so, but not really. My other babies were big, with long finger nails, and no vernix in sight, so they were definitely ready to come.
I am ready because I am very done with being so uncomfortable. However, I am very not ready since we don’t have anywhere for this kid to sleep. Or anything for her to wear. Plus, my to-do list for before she arrives is about a mile long. These are not things that can be put off either. I don’t want to bring a baby home to a construction site and paint fumes.
So basically, my goal is to work like a dog for the next two weeks just in case I don’t get the full four. Yep.
