October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss awareness month and October 15th is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. This is a day and month near and dear to my heart. I went through seven grueling years of infertility to have my first successful pregnancy. With my last miscarriage, my due date was actually on October 15th. It felt fitting. I met so many wonderful, supportive women along the way and it is so important to these women and myself to remember our lost babies. If you know someone who has lost a baby to miscarriage, stillbirth, or SIDS, please keep them in your thoughts today.

If you are in need of support, check out the resource directories at october15th.com and I am the face.
