I am finally sucking it up and suffering through our hard computer chair to give a very belated update.
Baby Boy is here! He will be known here as Lucky from now on.
He was 21 inches long and 8 lbs 8.4 ounces. I was in labor for 46 hours and it kept stalling, so even though I started on my own, I ended up with Pitocin anyway. I was getting pretty exhausted toward the end so I opted for an epidural.
He is a big boy and already pushing 11 pounds at three weeks old.
I am healing very slowly and have had some other issues crop up, that basically prevent me from sitting up in a chair, so I may be a bit scarce for a while still.
In the mean time I am still figuring out how to balance baby care, housework, and life in general.
I want to thank everyone for their support! I hope to be more active again soon.
